Last year, we set the bar high with the biggest startup event ever organized on Malaysian soil. World class speakers, halls and classrooms packed with passionate entrepreneurs, hands-on workshops, intimate mentoring sessions, and intense pitches to investors both local and foreign.

It would be a tough event to top.

This year, we set out to top it.

The main events sold out - drawing over 500 participants a day

Which, to be honest, was all we had room for

95 mentors and instructors turned up to deliver 65 quality keynotes, fireside chats, and workshops

Like the previous year, the attendees were exposed to different topics on each day: business model & product development on day one, marketing & operations on day two, finance & funding on day three, and talent & culture on day four.

This year, however, they got to choose between three tracks - catering to aspiring entrepreneurs, existing entrepreneurs, and social entrepreneurs

180 participants received 1-on-1 clinic sessions

Others got a chance to pitch the 107 visiting investors in 320 speed dating sessions

The startup career fair on the fourth day saw the industry's best known names - GrabTaxi, KFIT, Zalora, on the hunt for talent

All told, over 150 startups opened their doors to more than 2,000 jobseekers

Of course, the numbers don't tell the whole story

Our first priority will always be to serve people

Dzayed came here looking for ways to amplify the growth of his startup, a maritime tourism service provider. Knowing your way around financing would help. What have you learnt in #MA2015 ?
